The New York/New Jersey tension is rising but not in the way that we expected. In what seemed like a throwaway line earlier in the scene is having major ramifications as word gets back to Johnny Sack that his wife is fat. This he can’t believe and he cannot allow. The dreaded Johnny Sack/Ralph Cifaretto alliance is no more as Johnny now wants Ralph’s head and Tony tries to hold it all together without having to come out of his own pocket. Societal norms are challenged yet again on the Sopranos so come along for the ride with Jim and Jakob.
